Should I Make More Coffee?

I don’t know about you guys but I have been drinking one to two cups of coffee daily since I started my real-world full time job! It is a little worrisome to me since the only times I used to drink it before was around exam weeks. Even when it was cold outside I would usually turn to hot chocolate. But hey, if it wakes you up…

Kate, Cracking Up

I’ve mentioned previously that my love affair with caffeine may have reached an unhealthy level.  I’m pretty okay with this, though, and rarely question my infatuation with this most miraculous of beverages.

I like having a plan.  Do you?  I like knowing that if Thing A happens, Things B, C, and D are probably going to follow.  I like lists.  And things that meet at right angles.  Oooh and graphs and calendars and sticky notes.  I’m an incredibly disorganized human being, but I very much love the semblance of order.  My caffeine intake is pretty erratic, so I decided to compile my behavior in this category of my life (yes, it is its own category) in an easy-to-follow flowchart.  You know, just in case I someday forget how to make important decisions like this one.

Should I Make More Coffee?

I want to show my clients this because there is definitely more to social media than a Facebook page, and it’s about time some knew!

Breakthrough Marketing

Service based business marketing is very important, from prospecting, to loyalty programs that retain your client base.  Everyone knows it cost 5-7 times more to obtain a new client then it does to retain your current base; you just need to understand your client base, what drives them, and what is needed to maintain their relationship.

Some marketing ideas:

Take client photos frequently, as images and video drive the viral nature of social network. Digital cameras know take still images and video.  Make sure that the images are professional looking and truly show highly skilled images.   Have a model release ready to have the client sign-off so you can post the images to your blog, #Pinterest, #website, or#Facebook.   Remember, those images just stay relevant at that time they were posted, frequency is key.  Just don’t’ post once a day, several times a day is important.

A New Hype

See if you can find them!

Snow White and Sherlock Holmes

With a tagline “Come with a story and leave with another,” Colsubsidio worked with Lowe/SSP3, an ad agency in Bogota, Columbia to come up with these clever advertisements that will make you do a double-take. They are meant to illustrate a service Colsubsidio’s libraries provide, namely a book exchange. By taking classic storybook characters like Snow White, Harry Potter and Red Riding Hood and then hiding other characters within them, they ask the viewer to conjure up memories of some other notable characters. Love the minimalist nature of these.

Harry Potter and Troy

Little Red Riding Hood and Moby Dick
